Laurance Fader is currently Associate Principal Viola with the New York City Ballet and a member of the New York City Opera Orchestra and the Queens Symphony Orchestra.
A graduate of the Juilliard School of Music where he received both Bachelor and Masters of Music degrees, he is currently on the faculty of the Columbia University Teachers College.
Fader has also served as Principal Viola of the American Symphony Orchestra under Leopold Stokowski and has recorded for numerous labels including Lyrichord.
